First Tracks w/ Capt. Kip

Sunday, February 19th, 2012

Check out this clip from 2/19.

Kip Files is WSKI’s “On Snow” reporter during weekend mornings as well as holiday weekdays. He lets WSKI viewers know what conditions are like on the slopes of Sugarloaf before anyone else. Kip gets at least 3-4 runs in before the lifts start turning for the public between 7:30 and 8:30am. This service is made possible by the Sugarloaf Ski Shop, and in this clip Sugarloaf Ski Shop manager John Byrne tells us about some excellent deals going on at the ski shop live from the bottom of the Sugarloaf Superquad…

Tune in to see for yourself and Know Before You Go!

A New Chapter…

Friday, May 28th, 2010

WSKI-TV 17 will be changing our name to WSKI, Outside Television 17, at the end of May 2010 when the RSN affiliates across the USA begin the summer season with the Outside Today morning program, Reel Thrills, Untracked, Ride Guide, Outside Film Festival, & more! We welcome the new name & programming, as we at WSKI-TV 17 have always been all about Outside sports & adventures! There will be some changes to our line-up to create more programming, while we continue to ensure local information & programming will give guests to our region all they need to know to make the most of their stay in the greater Sugarloaf region! We look forward to your response to the new developments throughout the summer.

What’s Happening?

Monday, May 10th, 2010

The ski season’s end means closed doors for many local businesses, but not WSKI! We continue to offer info & entertainment around the clock year-round! This is when we catch up on productions that have been unfinished over the busy winter months, & when we de-brief, review & look towards better ways to accomplish our objectives of quality local television that best serves our region’s guests & locals. We want to know about any interesting events, activities or people & places that our viewers might enjoy: let us know if you have local information to let people know all there is to do & see! WSKI wants to hear about anything that makes the Sugarloaf region a great destination for all ages throughout the year, or inquiries regarding the same!
